Every meaningful journey begins with a question.

For us, that question was simple:

Could home care be made more personal, more connected, and more compassionate without losing the human touch?

The answer began to take shape in 2021, during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Like millions of families around the world, caregivers across Massachusetts faced challenges unlike anything they had experienced before. Communication became difficult. Families were often separated from loved ones. Caregiver shortages placed enormous pressure on those still serving in the community. Coordinating care safely became increasingly complex, while the need for compassion, reassurance, and dependable support had never been greater.

Rather than seeing only obstacles, a small group of experienced caregivers and professionals saw an opportunity to imagine something better.

Together, they began asking what the future of home care could look like if it were designed from the ground up around the needs of families, caregivers, and those receiving care.

Robert Wakabi, a human services professional with a passion for innovation, worked alongside his longtime friend and financial advisor, Ronald Musoke, exploring how thoughtful technology could simplify everyday care coordination without replacing the human relationships at the heart of caregiving.

At the same time, experienced caregivers Grace Isabirye and Stella Namata brought years of hands-on experience supporting families throughout Massachusetts. Their insights ensured that every new idea remained grounded in empathy, dignity, and the everyday realities of caring for people in their own homes.

Together, those different perspectives shaped what would eventually become MyCG Home Care.

Over the years, conversations became ideas. Ideas became plans. Plans became systems. And those systems evolved into a modern home care organization built around one simple belief:

Technology should strengthen human care—not replace it.

Today, MyCG combines compassionate caregivers with thoughtful coordination and modern technology to help families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their care journey. Every innovation we introduce is guided by the same purpose that inspired those first conversations: making home care more accessible, more responsive, safer, and more personal for every family we serve.

While we proudly serve families across Massachusetts today, our vision reaches much further. As MyCG continues to grow, we are preparing to expand into California and, over time, into other communities that share our belief that exceptional home care begins with exceptional people, supported by thoughtful innovation.
